Port Townsend Wearable Art Show

I was excited to be one of the makeup artists at the Port Townsend Wearable Art Show this weekend. This show began in 2011 as a fundraiser for Jefferson County Community Foundation's Fund for Women and Girls - whose vision is a world where women are safe, economically secure and free from discrimination so they can reach their full potential.

The wearable art show melds art and fashion, using the human form as a kinetic part of an artistic piece. The works range from functional to fantastic, and include creations fashioned from silk, leather and scraps of sail cloth, woven wire, and found objects like seashells and beach glass.

The pictures of these magnificent wearable works of art aren't posted yet for this year, but keep checking the'll be amazed!!
